Here is how the holy one BHO wants to use our tax money… to “stimulate” the economy…

- $1 billion for Amtrak, the federal railroad that hasn’t turned a profit in 40 years
- $2 billion for child-care subsidies
- $50 million the National Endowment for the Arts
- $400 million for global-warming research
- $2.4 billion for carbon-capture demonstration
- $650 million for digital TV conversion coupons.
- Less than 5% of the spending in the bill, is for fixing bridges or other highway projects.
- $600 million more for the federal government to buy new cars.
- $7 billion for modernizing federal buildings and facilities of which The Smithsonian is targeted to receive $150 million
- $252 billion is for income-transfer payments — that is, not investments that arguably help everyone, but cash or benefits to individuals for doing nothing at all.
- $81 billion for Medicaid,
- $36 billion for expanded unemployment benefits,
- $20 billion for food stamps,
- $83 billion for the earned income credit for people who don’t pay income tax.
- $66 billion more for education
- $20 million for removal of small to medium-sized fish passage barriers in Senate bill.
- $25million to rehabilitate off-roading ATV trails under the Senate bill
- $34million for remodeling the Department of Commerce headquarters in Senate
- $150 million Spent on honey bee insurance in the Senate bill
- $400 million dedicated to STD prevention in Senate bill
- $6 billion To colleges and universities (not for tuition)
